Emily Ratajkowski copies swimwear designs of Lisa Marie Fernandez
Just a week ago, Emily Ratajkowski released her brand new swimwear brand 'Inamorata', and soon after was accused of copying the New York designer Lisa Marie Fernandez.
Emily has been suspected of plagiarism for 2 of her designs, which were hard to hide, as the Inamorata brand only released 6.
Lisa Marie Fernandez bluntly highlighted that the designs that Emily launched are almost identical to the designs that she sold three years ago and sent her a cease-and-desist to stop her from selling them.
I mean, I guess many will have the temptation to copy Fernandez beautiful designs, especially when you can sell them for half the price (Emily sells the swimwear at around $160 vs the $340 for a Fernandez swimwear). But, alas, when you are being sneaky, you should also be prepared to pay the price.
Lisa Marie Fernandez had no problem declaring through social media what Emily did, and posted several images on her Instagram page with the articles that shamed Emily.
Alas, lets see how this story ends, as Emily has currently not yet commented on these accusations. However, I am pretty sure that she has learnt the lesson or at least whoever designed it for her.
